Marywood offers summer academic enrichment opportunities, school year standards-based 项目, and community outreach events that engage youth in education, service learning, and leadership development.

Perry's Academy of Learning at the Fricchione Center

Perry's Academy of Learning at the Fricchione Center is a great place for children to learn and grow in a safe, 清洁, interactive environment. The Center enrolls children from 8 weeks of age through Pre-K and is open to all clients in the community, not just families affiliated with Marywood University. The center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and is a Star IV Keystone Stars facility, a designation awarded to childcare providers that exceed state health and safety licensing requirements. The qualified staff are certified in CPR/First Aid provides quality child care to those pursuing career, 个人, or educational goals.

S.O.A.R. 程序 

Students On Campus Achieving Results (S.O.A.R.) provides an age-appropriate environment in which high-school age students with Autism Spectrum Disorder can prepare for competitive employment and learn to live independently. S.O.A.R. students spend half of their day at Marywood in classes taught by NEIU teachers. Instruction focuses on independent living, communication, life skills, and career education. The rest of the day is spent in vocational placements that pair students with Marywood staff. SOAR students work in housekeeping, 食品服务, 维护, 图书馆, 信息rmation technology, 理由让, and the print shop.

S.T.A.R.S.

Students Together Achieving Remarkable Success (S.T.A.R.S.) is a program that offers Hispanic youth in 7th-12th grade the opportunity to explore long-term academic goals through one-on-one academic assistance and exposure to diversified post-secondary educational paths, trades and careers.

字符串的项目 is an after-school, pre-collegiate string program for students ages 7-18. Participants take small-group lessons in violin, 中提琴, 大提琴, and double bass; participate in orchestra; and perform in concerts. 字符串的项目 participants are divided into three levels; beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Students are assigned to a group based on experience. Marywood faculty teach the classes and ensembles alongside Marywood String Majors pursuing degrees in Music Education, 音乐疗法, and Music Performance.

Nativity Miguel School of Scranton
